HMFA Foreclosure Relief Programs
The Department of Community Affairs and New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency recognize that many New Jersey families are currently going through or facing foreclosure. The State of New Jersey and the federal government provide a variety of programs to assist homeowners. Information about these programs is free. As a service to struggling homeowners in their community, Municipal Clerks have been asked to help facilitate the posting of informational links on their municipality's website.  About Foreclosure, First Steps: www.nj.gov/dca/hmfa/foreclosure/about/

State of NJ, Pothole Report Link

The extreme weather we endured this winter virtually assures a bumper crop of potholes this spring.  To expedite roadway repairs, the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) wants you to know how easy it is to report potholes without having to call or write a letter.  If you spot a pothole on a state roadway, help is jut a "click" away.  Just go to: www.nj.gov/transportation.  When the NJDOT home page appears, simply click on the "Pothole Reporting" link.  There you will find easy to follow instructions on how to report a pothold, roadway debris, litter, graffiti and even animal carcasses.   The site also provides links to the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, NJ Transit and county pothole hotlines.
