Police Chief's Welcome

I would like to personally welcome you to the Pleasantville Police Department website. Pleasantville is a diverse, urban town, located just west of Atlantic City in the State of New Jersey. Serving approximately 20,000 citizens, the police department responds to an average of about 35,000 calls for service each year. The department is comprised of three divisions: the Administrative Division, the Patrol Division and the Criminal Investigations Division. Within each division are various units, charged with supporting the efforts of the Captain commanding each division.

As Police Chief, I am committed to preserving the Quality of Life that the citizens of Pleasantville have come to expect. As a life long resident, I have personally experienced the changes the city has encountered through the years. This experience has provided me with an understanding of the diversity of the people of Pleasantville and has enabled me to witness the passion and spirit of the community. As Police Chief, I will continue to strive to enhance that spirit

I am proud to say that the men and women of the Pleasantville Police Department are committed to a problem-solving approach to policing, an approach which addresses the quality of life issues within our community. This system relies heavily on maintaining an open dialogue with the members of the community, enabling officers to develop relationship with the citizens of Pleasantville. These relationships will help ensure that the police department is able to provide a superior level of protection and service.

It is my pleasure to lead the men and women who make up the Pleasantville Police Department as we continue our efforts to improve the quality of life in the City of Pleasantville.
